Happy Birthday Connor!

Good morning people :)

Today is my youngest godson's 3rd birthday.  Connor is a very cheeky monkey and will love all the attention he'll get later, at his tea party.

I'm sharing the card I made for his birthday, today.  What do you think?

I have used the Lili of the Valley image - aeroplane, and coloured it with promarkers.  The background is stamped with Stampin' Up dotty background stamp.  I have then added a Craftwork Cards sentiment circle to finish the card off.

Enjoy your day :) xxx

Skating Along

Good afternoon bloggers!

Today I am sharing a card with you, that I made on Saturday, whilst over at Jen's for some crafting.  I love the image so wanted that to be the main feature of the card....hope you like it :)

I have used the lili of the valley image - called Skating Along and have coloured it with promarkers and added some glitter for the furry coat bits and the ice.  I have added some snowflake dies, cut with a Marianne Createables die and used a oval nestie for the aperture.  The paper is from a DCWV stack - not sure which, but it's all pink and girly Christmas papers.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
- Lili of the Valley - anything goes
- Sweet Stampin' - punches & dies
- Totally Gorjuss - sparkle
- TotallyPaperCrafts - Christmas
and finally
- Papertake Weekly - Christmas Crackers

Thanks for looking! xxx

Less is More Challenge

Good morning everyone,

I have been admiring the Less is More challenges for quite a while now, and seeing as I have started a blog, thought I would join in for the first time.

This week's challenge is bling which is very easy for this time of the year. Here is my entry:

I have used an Inkadinkado snowflake tree image and added lots of bling onto the tree! The gems are Papermania and the ribbon is just from my stash.

Thanks for looking xxx

First Post

Hello and welcome to my first blog post! :)

I am hoping to post here regularly and by joining in with some challenges, I'll be able to hopefully, do something crafty almost everyday.

I had a lovely afternoon yesterday with my new crafting friends, Lizy and Jen and managed to make 3 of my Christmas cards. I've been making Christmas cards for a while, to sell on a craft fair I had back in October, but haven't started on family cards yet....but hey, I've got three done now :)

Anyway, onto the cards - let's see if I can upload some images. Here goes.....

This card uses a Lilli of the Valley image which has been coloured in with promarkers and I have added some glitter and diamond glaze to the polar bears' eyes and noses. I have used a kanban card for the base, some silver mirror card for matting and the snowflakes (thanks Jen :)) and some blue bling for the centres.

I made 2 more cards, but I am struggling with getting the images where I want them. So I'll have to speak to my blogger expert and hopefully, I can add some more images tomorrow!

Thanks for looking! xxx
